Bunky's Origin
Bunky Boutique opened its doors in 2007 in downtown Phoenix's emerging arts district. As one of the first businesses to launch in the early days of the Phoenix arts and cultural scene, we quickly gained a passionate and loyal clientele who have remained steadfast to this day. While we were a small space essentially tucked away in an alley, we focused on filling our space with timeless, modern and creative fashion pieces from local and independent designers who reflected Phoenix’s unique style.
Community & Growth
Bunky is proud to be LGBTQ+ owned and has always been an inclusive space where everyone is welcome. Over the past decade, community support has allowed us to expand, growing into a larger downtown location, opening a second store at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport and most recently opening a third location in Gilbert. Throughout this growth, founder Rachel Malloy has remained true to her vision by personally selecting every item in the store, highlighting local and independent artists voices.
Our roots are firmly planted in the early days of Phoenix culture, and we remain committed to investing in its renaissance. Bunky continues to focus on curating unique items and desert vibes while highlighting labels, brands and products that promote Phoenix style.
